Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed are those who take refuge in him!”

From weekly small group meetings to potlucks and retreats, we look for ways to build deep and authentic relationships with each other. God transforms us when we take the risk to honestly share our lives with each other.

Worship

In our worship services, too, we strive to be authentic and open. We look to God's Word for bedrock truth and to our ordinary lives for how to make that truth real, everyday. Every part of us—our minds, emotions and senses—get engaged in worship experiences that leave us changed.

Volunteer Opportunities

When the reality of God's presence and love begins to come home to us, we can't help but offer that love and presence to others. Within our community and beyond our walls, near and far, we bring good news to others in a variety of ways. Whether you're a good cook, a good listener, a fine entrepreneur or an excellent teacher, we've got opportunities for you to serve by doing what you love. Learn how by calling Pastor Henry or Pastor Amy at 616-233-7515.

Student Ministries

All students in grades 3-8 are invited to participate in Bible Bistro. They are given a simple worksheet to complete during the message.  Following the message they meet as a small group with an adult mentor who can answer any questions about what they’ve heard that morning while they enjoy a special treat just for them!  High School students are encouraged to join the youth group, which meets weekly to discuss their faith, do Bible study, and participate in service projects.

Prayer

Do you believe in the power of prayer?

We do.

It permeates everything we do, from worshiping together to planning the Bible club we hold for kids in our neighborhood elementary school to helping each other through personal difficulties. We've seen God transform lives through the prayers of his people. Please click here to send us a note and let us pray for you.

Small Groups

Our transformation happens not only when we worship as a whole community, but also when we share life deeply with a few other people who, like us, long for God. We have a variety of small groups whose members meet regularly to search out God's truth and experience God's love together.

Children's Ministries

We're devoted to spiritual growth at all ages. We involve our children in adult worship and opportunities for service and also offer them their own age-appropriate worship times (with trained leaders who have undergone background security checks). For a fuller description of our children's worship or for a copy of our child supervision guidelines, please speak with Julie Briggs, our Children’s Ministry Director or email her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
